About Patty Alexander

I have a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Georgia State University, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. Prior to that, I earned a Bachelor in Science in Psychology while attending University of Georgia and Georgia State University.

I am experienced in a variety of clinical settings including community based mental health, crisis counseling and domestic violence programs. I am also experienced in grief, loss, trauma and attachment work. I currently teach a parenting class to help parents deal with challenging behavior. I also have many years of experience in adoption including birthparent, adoptee, and adoptive parent counseling. I work with children as young as six years old to older adults.

My counseling solutions have helped a wide variety of people overcome their individual issues in a creative and compasionate manner. My diverse and dynamic approach allows me to create new and effective collaboration with each individual in order to bring harmony.
